I play a Computer online game called World of Warcraft. I am wanting to purchase a notebook/laptop but I am not sure what one I need. There are so many kinds out there does anyone have any suggestions? I don’t know any information like the GB and all that junk – I just want something that is not a ton of money and that will work well for me.

Thank you much! Xo

=)

Get the Acer Aspire 5670. for $1400-1500 you get: 120 GB hardrive, 2 GB RAM. ATI X1400 graphix card (whoever i talk to is suprised to see one of those in a laptop.) it has intel duo core processor, bluetooth, wireless, and a 17in screen. But its not too heavy. oh it also has a camera and card reader. It is great for gaming

You'd probably do fine with a Dell or HP that DOES NOT have integrated graphics.

If you look at the Dell E1505, you can configure it with 512mb Ram (minimum you want), and an ATI x1300 (or x1400) for under $900.

If you can spend more, buy better hardware in this order:
Graphics Card
Ram
Processor

It'd be helpful to know more about your needs, like the display size and resolution (13" or 15", xga or sxga), portability, etc.

a general rule of thumb for a gaming machine is pick a reputable company (like Dell, or Sony) and spend as much as you can afford ... (because gaming, unfortunately demands more of the computer than any other singular application you'll use. (typically, anyway)
Why do you need a laptop to play games anyway? why not just get a regular machine that's faster for the same price?

as far as specs go... you can always see what the software manufactures recommend you have in your machine, but It's been my experience that you need a machine that far surpasses those recommended specs for the software to really run smoothly all the time.
