I was told a story once:

A college girl went to class and studied real hard and her roommate didn't, the roommate partied all night and skipped class to sleep. The dean called in the "A" student and told her he was going to divide her grade and give some of it to her roommate so that the "F" student could graduate. .

If you think it is fair then you are a democrat if you think everyone should work for their own grades then you are a republican

Most people don't fit in either one exclusively. For isntance I vote for both sometimes. I value civil liberties and believe in capitalism, however i dont believe that capitalism should go unchecked. Democrats tend to create legislation that puts a check on capitalism (grants for people to atend college) and republicans tend to take a hands off aproach to the free market (grants/tax breaks for buisnesses to expand).

too much of one is not good, so republicans and democrats tend to balance eachother out.

Read up on some well known republicans and democrats.. Their views on important topics like war, education, social security ect ect.....

Not to say everyone is a robot.. but generally.. Most republicans have the same views on things and democrats have the same views on things...

You go with the party that you think best fits your views...

There are also other partys besides repubs and demos.. There's also independents.. which I'm a "member" of.. and basically I agree with some views on both sides.. but I don't want to be affiliated with one particular party.

I just laugh and laugh at so many of these generalizations. You can guess which party each person belongs to. lol.

Here's the thing, you don't have to belong to a party. Read up on the candidates and the issues and go from there. If you support something, vote for it. If you like what someone stands for, vote for them.

Drawing these party lines in the sand and falling victim to rhetoric (only republicans believe in God????) won't make you an educated American, and we desparately need those right now.

Good luck to you. : )

It's pretty simple. Pull down your pants.

small = Republican
large = Democrat

You don't have to choose to be either. Being an independent is sometimes much better. You can actually vote based on what you believe, not what the party tells you to believe.

it's good to be neither. when you go vote, use your better judgment, include your heart and soul for we are getting close to a time when the u.s.a. is not the leader of the free world anymore. now more then ever we must let our hearts lead the way. God bless america...

Do you think the federal gov't can fix problems or just waste time, money, energy as they make things worse?

If you think the gov't can fix problems vote Democrat.
If you think gov't makes thing even worse vote Republican.

BTW, due to heavy projected voter turn out this year Dems are requested to vote on the first Wed in Nov and Republicans should vote on the Tues.

This is a very important question but i'm an authority on this subject------- You are a republucan if you carry your bible under you left arm pit and your 357 mag in right rear pants pockett------- and you are a democrat if you carry your bible under the right arm pit and you 357 mag in the left rear pockett------- the reason for this you have to do whatever it takes to get the votes-------the voting machines they are using today are almost impossible to fool since the problem in Flordia------that was a close call and we almost caught the guilty parties -----------now you know---

If you're enamored with "symbolism", then you're a Democrat.

If you think "substance" is more important, then, you're a Republican.
