I just got a new iPod nano and when I when I plug it in to my computer(pc), I get a error message stating that iTunes cannot connect to the iStore due to a network error. I can surf the web just fine, any recommendations on how to remedy this problem so I can enjoy some tunes?

have you shut down and restarted your computer? what kind of internet connection are you using? are you running firewall software like norton's internet security?

if you're using an internet connection through an intranet (like at work or school) then the site may be blocked. alternately, if you're running firewall software, it might be blocking it as well. if you aren't behind an intranet firewall, try disabling the firewall software and see if you still have the same problem.

It can't connect to the iStore? That's new. It's called the iTunes Store. Anyway, do you have the latest version of iTunes downloaded? The latest version is iTunes 7.0. I know there have been some issues with this version, so wait until Apple fixes it. It won't be too long now.

Who cares?
Just download music off of Limewire and drag the music files into iTunes. It's free and much easier.
