Quantitive is merely the number of people or things involved. Qualitative is a measure of the quality of the outcome. For example in a survey, quantitive is the number of people asked. Qualitative is the quality of the answers received.

If you are measuring quantitative value, it will be a number, for example, there is a change in weight of 2 mg. Qualitative is something you observe it is done using the senses. Example would be color change or odor.

qualitive research methords is when you use data like pie charts and customer research interviews, documents and stuff. It gives you more of an insight into the way your target audience think whereas qualitive is when you jus write it all down if you no what i mean
