Thought they would have done a 'Wolfgang' on Mrs. Blair after she declared Gordon Browns' speech a lie. Could be it tells us all we need to know about the apparent 'fear' Mr. Brown seems to install. Or has Mrs. Blair decided to come out of the shadows and scrap for her man. Discuss.

I stand corrected, Karen! 'Tis true she has boogered it time and time again - could be she has been told to melt into the 'leaders wife' status (like Mrs. Major, perhaps), but being a lawyer AND Liverpudlian spoilt the Labour script.

Cherie Blair was objecting to what Gordon Brown said about being "loyal" to Tony Blair.
Downing Street denied that the PM's wife had blurted out: "Well, that's a lie," while watching the chancellor profess his loyalty to Mr Blair on TV during the speech.
Mrs Blair has never been in the shadows, she's alway's had plenty to say, putting her foot in it everytime!!
