It used to be possible, should still be.
I would go to a store that sells phones for more that one network and take pleanty of id, ideally a utility bill for the address that you stay at.
Best idea would be to be honest with the sales guy, really they want the sale and the commision and don't care how the account goes, If you are honest they will do what they can, maybe though they will require a deposit of what the phone is worth and this will be offset against probably your sixth bill onwards. This is worth it in the long run as if you keep the agreement going then you should not have the same problem if you wish to move provider after the contract ends.

Yes, u can but u may have to pay a higher deposit if your credit score is not up to par. Most phone companies run your credit history to determine what the deposit on your account would actually be. If its too high, try a pre-paid one. The new plans are so much better than when they first arrive on the scene. Check out the TO GO PHONES or something like that and u would be surprise on how u can get a current up to date phone as well.

It depends....You have to go throu a credit check when u get a contract phone. Some credit checks will come back with mandotory DD payment in which case you would need a bank account or someone who was willing to do DD for you from their bank.
You would need to take 2 forms of ID, 1 as proof of address such as utility bill and 1 as proof of name ie passport.
Hope this helps

Yes, Metro PCS allows you to. You buy the phone and pay for you frist months bill. You then receive a txt message when your billis due. You then go into a Mtreo PCS store and pay your bill. Hope this helps.

I'm not sure about these days. I think you can if you put down a really big deposit. I don't think it's worth it, though. Phone service is strictly profit. Nothing is lost by the phone companies. It never made sense to me to collect a deposit on such services.
