I'd like to have enough money to comfortably meet my needs for reasonable housing and expenses, reasonable transportation, higher education for my family, medical expenses, 10% for charity, 10% for savings, and a vacation every year (nothing too terribly expensive.) That seems reasonable and would keep people from bothering me for money or possibly killing me for it!LOL!
Nobody needs millions. Money can't buy you happiness; just more expensive troubles. Of course, since I am part of the working poor, I must think that way! LOL!
Seriously, I trust God as the source of my supply and I really don't think you can serve two masters (God and money) so I count myself blessed that although I am not sitting on a portfolio of investments or a big fat bank account, my job pays reasonably well and I usually have what I need and fairly often what I want. There is something about working and saving for what you want that makes you appreciate it.
However, if you just happen to know the winning lottery numbers...

Having enough money is all in the head. It just depends on much you think you need to feel comfortable. It might be a little or it might be a lot. You might need but a few thousand to feel like you are rich or you might dream bigger and think you need millions to feel the same. I feel enough would be, for me, to have just enough in the bank to pay bills and maybe go somewhere on vacation every year. That would probably be just a few thousand.

I think it would very for everyone depending on what they are use to having. For me I think about 250,000 a year would make me more then happy. I live off of about 20,000 a year right now with four kids and manage to put money aside so that amount of money would cover more then enough for me and the kids.

Enough to be happy, and keep my family. Children are a poor mans treasure and I am content. I think too much money breeds contempt, and will start being used for the wrong things.

Just enough? I would be happy if we had hmm, 1/2 mill per annum. :)
However, we could live quite comfortably and probably do all we wanted on 200K/annum
