no you owe her nothing , you supported her you bought everything what did she contribute. stop giving her money and stuff, she will keep using you as long as you let her. you were not married she can't claim anything she abandoned it 5 mo ago. don't associate with her anymore if she's acting like that. the police can't do anything and if there are no marks on her she can't say you beat her up, have someone with you so you have someone to verify you did not hit her.call the police on her for haressment and get a restraining order before she goes to the police and lies.stop letting this girl get away with this.

I don't know how things work where you live but she's not entitle to half of anything. It was not like you were married to her. You know now that she was using you. You can tell her that she already got her half such as the car, deposit for the flat and cash to furnish the flat. So she got her half and if she needs anything else, she needs to go to her girlfriend. Because you are not responsible for her anymore. She can say you beat her, you can say the same thing. I personally would not give this gold digger another penny. Call the police on her for extortion. You got to get tough with her not physical just tough with your words.

Does your country allow for Common Law Marriage? If so, what are the required number of years you have to be together? If it is more than 4, you are in the clear. If not, see an attorney. Record every telephone conversation with her regarding the issue so you will have some evidence to the contrary if she does go to the police.

Hey if you were not married you don't owe her a thing. Well maybie a kick in the butt (but thats besides the point). She is a mooch and she wont stop there. As soon as she can spend all the money she will do the same thing. Tell her to get a life and a job and stop mooching off others.

Be a man and tell her, "No." The police are not as dumb as you seem to think they are -- I have a brother and a friend who are police officers, and they would certainly not fall for that after-the-fact claim of having been beaten by you. Tell her she was your girlfriend, not your wife, and that you owe her absolutely nothing. Also, by the way, be sure to keep written records of her threats, and especially recordings, if you have any; they will be useful if the court system somehow becomes involved.

Tell her to go get bent! If you werent married she can not have half of everything. She is intitled to nothing. Plus she woulda had to have filed a police report at the time of the supposed abuse for it to fly in court. Dont worry about it to much and stop all contact with her.

first off, she's the girlfriend not the wife. If you would to take this to court (at least in the US) she wouldn't get anything. Its your money, and you paid for everything. I mean I personally don't think she has a right to anything, but if you are really concerned I would go talk to a lawyer.

If you never married her, she can't get any of your own possessions. Anything that was given to her as a gift would belong to her and you won't be able to get that back. If the son is not yours, then you won't need to worry about child support. Anything that she would have bought with her own money would belong to her, but if she never did that, it would be yours. Thats how I see it anyhow. She sounds like a nutcase if shes trying to blackmail you and as long as you never did anything to her, you have nothing to worry about. She'd get herself into a lot of trouble if she accused you of something you didn't do. Thats slander.
