I was really excited for "Batman Begins", but was kind of disappointed. I thought Christian Bale was a good Bruce Wayne (anybody can be Batman), and I thought they FINALLY did something with Jim Gordon that was respectful. I would like to see them bail on the plastic suit and really show what it was like during Batman's first year, where he was just a guy who trained a lot and didn't have a bunch of toys.

Seems like they're trying to remake the 1989 version.

They've blown it big w/ the Batman movies. The last one had decent writing, but Batman couldn't act worth guano.

Re-doing an overhyped, campy 1989 version (try watching it sometime, it's awful) seems like yet another waste of time.

I'm a big fan of the re-tooled Batman Begins. I thought that Nolan did a wicked good job. The last couple of Batman movies were about as dumb as you could get (I mean come one, Arnie as Mr. Freeze?)

I'm intrigued at seeing Heath Leger as the Joker. I'm not sure about that choice, but he's got talent and he may just put a great spin on the villan.

A futuristic Batman Beyond movie would be a nice idea, if they have to make another Batman movie.
