I was just wondering how many times in sports history a single city has had 3 teams of different sports finish in first place? It looks like this year the Detroit Pistons, Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Tigers will all have finished in first place. Has this ever happened before??

In 1980-81 seasons Philadelphia had sent the Phillies (who won the world Series), the Eagles (who lost to the Raiders in the Super Bowl), the Flyers (who lost to the Islanders) to the Stanley Cup Finals, and the 76ers (who lost to the Lakers) in the NBA finals
