Conclusion signifies that some process has ended. The process can be anything e.g. a foot race, a book, a newspaper article, life etc. It is frequently applied to a thought process. Analysis leading to an end result in the analyst's mind [a conclusion].

Simply put it is an ending.

a conclusion is a decision you make as to the meaning of the data you have in front of you. For example, you asked "what is a conclusion," and from this I can conclude that you are either from another country and someone helped you ask the question, or you are being facetious.
