As sad as it may make me sound, I believe the only time I can ever make NO stick is when the checker at the grocery store asks, Will there be anything else.

As with anything in life... depends on what you're talking about because if I'm just playing hard to get then NO probably means... gimme a minute. But if I really don't want to do something the NO means NO.

No does mean no but some ppl say no when they really mean yes and yes you can be talked into doing something but it's up to you to control the situation if you know the outcome

It really depends on what it is. No can mean many things, especially from women. We tend to beat around the bush at times so to speak. LOL

Most of the time I am able to say no and make it stick...but there are those people that can make me change my mind and talk me into doing whatever it is....but that doesn't happen very often...

With my son... no means no and it never changes
With others, I can be easily persuaded with attention and liquor.

Some I can be talked into:
