We have block parties and holiday events.
We have a block watch and look out for the safety of our neighbors.
If someone is sick - we help. We send flowers to hospitals, etc. We are an old fashioned neighborhood in modern times!

We live in the country and yes, we know every one of the neighbors that are close enough to see. They are great people and we watch out for each other's homes, children, animals, etc.

Yes. I make sure they know that I own eight different guns and am not afraid to use them. Sorry but busybodies like you make me not want to know my neighbors for any reason outside of letting them know I am armed and dangerous.

I don't know everyone on my street, but I am acquainted with a select few. Some of them I really don't want to know because they creep me out.

I live in a decent size cul-de sac and if I don't know them than my husband generally does. We do know everyone right next to us and around us. We also do a frequent check on sex offenders in our area since our daughter walks to school.

No waaaay!!! We very rarely chit chat, but we always wave at each other in our cars as we pass by each other. I only know one of my neighbors well, and we have dinner at each other's house...this works out well, cause I'm in love with their son!!! Haha!
