if you can find the first months rent. then the council may have a bond guarantee scheme. or you could come to an arrangement to pay the deposit off in stages.

Unless you can find someone gullible enough to rent a house to you without a deposit - then you're shtuck !

Try one of the housing agencies.

If you are currently homeless the local authority/ council/ housing dept may lend you the money for a deposit.

A sensible Landlord will always expect a deposit - to cover possible damage &/or unpaid rent.
