I empathasize with the Palestinian cause to the point that I support (from the armchair), any action that is taken by Palestinian militants; if you actually look at their situation they believe they are fighting justly to regain their homeland, and all they have left to fight with is their bodies and ageing small arms, hence their seemingly desperate tactics against an enemy (in their eyes) with unlimited resources...so are their actions really that deplorable? I can honestly see, were my country taken over by a hostile force, many of our citizens rising up in a similar fashion with no hesitations about using bombs or booby traps.

Is there any way I can help their cause without being imprisoned or branded a terrorist?

Sensible answers only please.

I'm trying to answer this question objectively
I think empathy and support are two VERY different things.
Injustice and hate run deep and it effects generations. To change that it takes many more generations making a conscious decision to change.
You can "see the injustice" and know the root of the hate that grows into violence.
But the end does not justify the means.

There never has been such a place as the palestinian homeland... there never has been a race/people called the palistinians... those claiming to be"palistinians are from the area that was divided by the western powers and who chose to leave the area they were in rather than accept citizenship in the new nation of Israel... most were ordered to leave there homes by the political and religious leaders opposed to Israel... they could have kept the land and businesses they had and been full citizens of israel.... they were all of arab decent from the area but were not "palistinians" "palistin" was name made up by the controling powers for the intire area that was latter divided into what we see there now. it is all late 19th and 20th century invention.

BTW...They are armed with up-to-date light infantry weapons and short range missles... and some armored equipment.

nope, it's not wrong. but you probabaly don't realize that things aren't just black and white. there are shades, mate. do means justify the end? every single action of a jihadist can be justified then. where does that leave humanity. i think the moderate islamic people are losing their souls because of this.
