Object being viewed. If you're looking in a curved mirror, the image will be a different size from the object being viewed.

The image in a plane mirror is exactly the same size as the OBJECT. (The thing that's in front of the mirror)

I don't suppose pilots use rear view mirrors like car drivers do. Imagine how big their wing mirrors would be?????
