Sounds pretty normal, your body has to stretch and move things around to accommodate your baby and growing stomach. Don't lay on your stomach if it hurts!! By this time your baby might be sitting close to front verses the back making it uncomfortable for you. It's possible to feel movement right now even though in most cases it's unlikely, not impossible, just unlikely. If you feel it when you stretch or lay on your stomach then you're probably right, because there's more pressure and you're bringing the baby closer to the front. At any rate, don't stress yourself out it sounds like you're doing just fine! Good luck to you and your baby!

OK, First of all, if your Doctor isn't sure if you are pregnant or not - you need a new Doctor! By 16 weeks, you could be showing and are almost half way there.
If you are pregnant, the sharp pains in your stomach could be your ligaments stretching. They stretch to accommodate your growing uterus and it can be quite painful. However, it shouldn't last to long, and if you change positions it should go away.
Being hungry all the time is part of being pregnant. Your body needs extra fuel to support you and your growing baby. Eat many small "healthy" meals and snacks throughout the day.
If this is your first baby, you probably won't notice the baby's movements for another few weeks. And if you are 16 weeks pregnant you should not be laying on your stomach at all. Or your back for that matter. The best position is laying on your left side. Laying on your left side gives the baby more oxygen.
At 16 weeks pregnant, you should also be careful on how you are moving. You can continue to exercise, just do it in moderation. Stretching to much can pull your ligaments in your stomach and cause some pain.
I think you should get to a Doctor, confirm your pregnancy and then take a pregnancy class. You can learn alot on how to take care of yourself and your baby, and what's normal and when you need to see a Doctor. Or get the book "What to Expect when You're Expecting".
Good Luck!!

You need a new doctor!! You may be a little young and a little scared. It's okay there are options but at 16 weeks you don't have many.
You need to see a doctor so that they can give you a blood test. At 16 weeks you would know if you took a test at home.
You really need to think responsibly and start thinking about prenatal care. You may be 4 months pregnant and your OB/GYN needs to prescribe your prenatal vitamins.
Please get help as soon as posible . this is for your safety and the baby's. Good luck

How can a doc. not be sure if you are pregnant? Didn't you get a test done? If you did then they can tell you, no doubt! If you feel something moving then yes it could be a baby. You need to make an appointment and see a doc. especially if you are pregnant so you can make sure your baby is okay and start taking your prenatals. That's not something to play around with! Hope everything works out well for you!

Yep, this happens to me too. I have to pee ALL THE TIME! Even when I just pee.....15 mins later Im running to the bathroom. Im always hungry.....always! And I usually sleep on my stomach, I cant anymore because it feels like its stretching a lot, and it hurts.
But If you dont know if you're pregnant or not, you may want to buy a home pregnancy test. Also if you went to the obyn, they should have tested you......its weird that they are unsure if you;re pregant or not. Also they do a lot of blood tests to determine your hormone levels.

Okay how could a doctor not be sure if you are pregnant?? Have you taken a preg. test? I guess I am confused... are you 15 weeks pregnant or your not sure if you are pregnant?
Well if you are I think that it's def. the baby moving... Try not to lie on your stomach... The doc. told me not to do that when I was preg.

I think you are pregnant...but then again it could just be GI upset like gas or stones. Talk to you dr again. PS Don't sleep on your stomach...baby doesn't get enough oxygen. Left side is the best position.
