That would be

1] 2000 meters every 1000 seconds (2 km)

1400 / 2 = 700 sets of 1000 seconds

1000 x 700 = 700000 seconds

700000
-604800 s in a week
------
106200

1.175 weeks

2] 6 hrs rest each night
18 hrs walking

3600 seconds/hour
x 18
----
28800
+36000
------
64800 seconds per day

700000/64800 seconds for the entire trip.

10.802 days for the entire trip.

THERE YOU GO

If you walk 2m/sec then to walk 1km will take you
(1000m)/ 2m/sec=500sec.
To go 1400 km will take you (1400)(500) sec or
700,000sec. An hour is sixty minutes and a minute is 60 seconds, so there are (60)(60)=3600 seconds in an hour.
The whole trip in hours will be 700,000/3600 hrs or
194.44 hrs.
If you stop between 10 pm and 8am then you will be traveling 14 hours a day.
To travel the needed 194.44 hours will take you
194.44hrs/ (14 hrs/day)=just under 14 days.

answer to Q1)
1400 kilo meters = 1400000 meters.
speed = distance / time
time = distance / speed
SO time = 1400000 / 2
= 700000 seconds
time it would take to walk from land's end to jhon o'groats
= 700000 seconds which is equal to 194.44 hours..
