Quality, because it would probably require less, thus would in the end be cheaper. Quantity only if you can't afford the "good" stuff, but you'll need more of it.
As for other aspects of quality versus quantity -- well, never mind. That wasn't your question ;)

Talking food and if you are a glutton then quantity, if your watching your health then go for quality.
If the question is about relationships different story. Thinking marriage ? try quality, for a no commitment some like it hot.
