My husband and I have been ttc for six months now. I went to the doctor's last week and she said because I ovulate once every two-three months it is going to take a long to to concive, couple that with the fact that my uterus is tilted, and you have a big problem. I REALLY REALLY want kids and the thought of having to wait years, ending up at a fertilty clinic, or even never having a child scares me. It has gotten to the point where I avoid women with babies because I just want to cry. Do you have any advise to help me get through this time ?

You'll be fine. Stressing about it won't help, it will hurt! You're only 24, you have plenty of time to have a kid and if you can't conceive after a year or so, your Dr. will help (or get a new Dr.). I know it's hard because you're ready now, but you'll appreciate the baby more when it comes. Pregnancy is not all that pleasant and can be scary even if you're ready, so waiting will make your pregnancy worth enduring. Be glad of all the medical breakthroughs! Good luck!

I have a tilted uterus and have two beautiful girls, and am pregnant with a boy. Do not let this get you down. This Will not add hardly any problem to your situation. I would suggest getting a second opinion about getting on fertility drugs. If you are married and want a baby at the age of 24-25-26 then you should be able to get what you want. The age you are at is prime to have a baby. Call around get another opinion. And watch your calender. There are also things that kill sperm, and would reduce your chances, like urination. The mans sperm can live in the woman's body for up to five days, and will give you more chances. But The thing I have always done is go to sleep after me and my hubby made love. Not go potty, or get up. good luck and It will happen for you at the right time.

It drives me CRAZY when doctors give you "you just haven't been trying long enough for further treatment"...is your doctor a specialist? If he/she is not, get a referal for a specialist. A tipped uterus is more common than some people think and doesn't threaten fertility as much as the "ovulating every few months".
My advice? Get a new doctor and tell them you've been trying for over a year. They will treat your issue faster!

I think you'll be able to pull through. You are still very young and I think that the will to have kids will only make you work harder for it. Don't get down on yourself, at least you CAN have them even if it's hard. Good luck.
