that signifies that they dont really put consideration in the relationship. think of it like this, if u go out ur way and do lil things to show affection and do things to show appreciation towards that person, and dont get anything back. kinda feels like ur taken for granted. i would figure u would want the same feeling back.

It's a sign that all is not as it should be. Either he has an incurable brain tumor that is causing him to lose his memory, or he's a disrespectful creep that deserves to be cut off for a while till he never forgets another anniversary ever again!

You've just described my partner.....and I haven't said anything yet, but I haven't ruled out offering a piece of my mind either. I'm just trying to cool off until I can open a conversation without a bunch of hostility.
So, I'm hoping that you get a lot of insightful answers to your question because I need the info too.

Two very different things, not remembering, and not caring... If he forgot, I would be upset, but not personally offended...If he professed not to care,( be it actions or words ) that is another thing. I seem to be able to remember to keep all the big butt jokes to myself, why would I forget something that obviously means so much to my woman ??? Some men live in their own world, the rest are caring and affectionate... My advice is to seek the latter....

I would say you dont care for our relationship enough to remeber our anniversary and just walk away. i would only say it because i havent had an anniversary yet and if he doesnt remember i might have to kick his butt!!

Don't say anything. Just forget to do their laundry, cook dinner, clean the house, or have sex with them. Maybe that would help to jog their memory. It works on kids too. When they "forget" to clean their room or do their homework, I forget their allowances and snack money. Works wonders on premature Alzheimer's.

He always does something so wonderful and romantic on that day, so I would just be devastated if he forgot!

I would be a little upset and disappointed but not angry. I'd remind him that he missed an important day and give him a chance to make it up to me.
