Its true that many people do think that... I always thought glasses made someone look "smart" and sophisticated.... Then I needed them.. lol and now its funny to hear/notice how many people act like they believe a person with glasses is a genius or something :)

Not really, but people who wears glasses are stereotyped as smart....but really they have poor vision or just wearing glasses as an accessory. x

No way...I wear glasses and I am not smart. And I've been to and graduated college.....shows you they'll give anyone a degree.

Unfortunately that seems to be the assumption that people have about individuals that wear spectacles...I used to wear them and in grade school and everyone though that I was the substitute teacher.....even though I attended school with them everyday. Funny huh.....
