While they're doing it, blast the music really loud, bang on the walls, or leave an anoymous note in their mailbox. I also like the idea of confronting the male of the couple and try reasoning with him. He might feel alittle embarrassed but it might quiet things down a bit. The only reason why I'd say try reasoning with the male lastly is because if they find out you can hear them, they might like it and might decide to go loader or just plain ignore your request.

This happened to me once, but it was my roommate, not the neighbor. Finally I'd had enough. I got out my "New Kids On The Block" CD and played "Hangin' Tough" as loud as I could. They stopped because she was laughing so hard. Nothing spoils the mood like a boy band!

If in an apartment complex - take your noise complains(w/o specifics) to the manager.......there are generally restrictions in the lease information.

If in a dorm - see the floor manager.

Otherwise, slip a note in their mailbox stating that it is appreciated that they appreciate each other on a regular basis but consideration for those about them is greatly apprecaited as well. There is no need to include your name for even they must know they have neighbors afterall.

well that depends: do you want to join them or stop them? just bring up the subject about not getting much sleep because you kept hearing some loud noises coming from outside. or call them up and say" is everything okay over there?" we heard someone screaming and can't make out which direction it was coming from.

approach it with humour, and mention how thin the walls are next time you see them. It probably won't take them long to get the hint. If it continues then a direct approach might be needed. maybe ask for some pointers seeing how they enjoy themselves so much.

Well, it depends on what type of people they are....if they are approachable you can talk to them nicely about it, if not, still approach then and if they don't bother with you find some creative way to embarass them, such as recording them and playing it or just imitating them. If that fails, well, make some of your own noise to drown them out.

Make some noise of your own with your partner .... let them hear what you've been listening to. Make sure it's really loud....and you should really get into it. No Fair laughing during. If you laugh....you have to do it over again.

Have you thought of out-moaning them?

You don;t have to have the sex, but just put on a play for their benefit

Theres not really much you could do. Talk to them and ask them if they could keep it down a lil bit. If it doesn't work start banging on the walls while their goin at it. That will definately draw some attention.
