the officer pulled me over and issued me a warning for the lane usage, I have a witness that will confirm that I did not commit this offense. I was in the middle of a traffic jam. I was then issued a ticket for dwls, a 500 dollar fine and a misdemeanor, of which, I was unaware. Is this a violation of the 4th amendment as the officer had no reason to suspect my vehicle? The vehicle I was driving was registered to my passenger.

Since notified of my drivers liscense issue, which was due to a ticket and check being lost by the mail, (which in my city, is unpredictable at best.) I resolved the ticket and had my liscense reinstated. Now again, the mail returned the notification of the court date (no such number) in error, and I will be turning myself in tomorrow on a bench warrant. It would have been impossible to commit the improper lane usage offense as I was locked in one lane for over half an hour. I was directed to pull over into a construction zone.

You will lose this in court. It comes down to your word against his, even though you say you have a wittness. More credibility is always put on an officer.

You should consider yourself lucky! He could have sited you with unlawful lane change as well as no insurance in addition to the charge he did charge you with. You aren't supposed to be driving! Get legal then bit*h about the cops doing their jobs. Think that was a drag? Continue driving and have a drunk driver plow you over or hit a kid who runs out in the street in front of your car. Not your fault? WRONG! You will get charged with a crime because you had no right being behind the wheel in the first place. STOP DRIVING until you get your license back!

in many states, conversing on a hand-held cell telephone or texting on an identical time as driving is illegitimate. (For sturdy reason, diverse automobile injuries have been led to by making use of people conversing on a cell telephone and not paying interest while they are driving!) So sure, the officer provides you you a value ticket for that.

you may have been at fault, but the traffic police have too much power over the average motorist. Most bars have parking lots, but then we are to believe that no one goes to a bar and then drives off without ever drinking a beer, yeah, right! That cops never drink and drive, judges either!

It all comes down to your word against the officers. There is no way you are going to get evidence suppressed.

It will cost you more to fight it. pay the $500. and stop driving without a license.

You weren't supposed to be driving in the first place so it sounds like you got a lucky break to me. I'm sure there is a good reason you had your license suspended in the first place. You shouldn't be on the road.
