Yes. I actually did not have this problem with my first pregnancy, but I am dying this time around. My husband will be wearing a jacket and i will be in shorts and tee shirt and still boiling. It is only 68 here today and I am ready to pass out from the heat. I hope it goes away after the baby is born. I am due in 5 days.

I am a person who is usually always cold but when I was pregnant, I was never cold. I wore short sleeves the whole time.
It was great because normally I have to wear a sweater indoors during the summer because air conditioning makes me too cold but when I was preggers, I was normal like other people.
So yes, it's perfectly OK to feel hot when pregnant.

During pregnancy you are generally hotter than persons who are not pregnant. However you should not be excessively hot if it is that cold outside. Try reducing your layers of clothing and also try not to have the temperature up as high.

During pregnancy you are likely to feel warmer than normal. This is due to hormonal changes and to an increase in blood supply to the skin. Pregnant women tend to sweat more because of the warm feeling.
Remedies
Wear loose fitting clothes.
Wear clothes made of natural fibres (e.g. Cotton) as these are more absorbent and breathe more than synthetic fibres.
Keep your room cool as far as possible.
Wash frequently to stay fresh.
Include diet that is not hot and spice and will keep you cooler.
Do not stress yourself too much.

This is very normal during pregnancy. It is due to increased hormones. I am seven and a half mths and I always have the air turned all the way up while my husband is sitting beside me shivering!

Was for me, and I had horrible hot flashes the whole time. I don't think anything can be done. If you are really hot, I know a ice pack on the back of the neck helped me out a lot. good luck!

yes .....
and even after pregnancy....
you are producing excess blood flow to the baby so that heats up your body..
I use to sleep with a big heavy blanket and now even two years after I can still only sleep with one thin sheet..
totally normal don't worry
congrats
