why do i have to turn off pop blocker to get on a game in yahoo ,this has never happen before?

i been playing in yahoo long time ,now i can get into yahoo games ,but not on a table ,i can if i removed pop up blocker .i have never had to do this before why now ,its a pain ,please help ,Susan T

leave your pop up blocker on...to get in room do this;
1st thing you do when you get in lounge is check small windows in options box.once in room make sure you expand it to see chat area.you only see half of cards but you can still play.this gets rid of the ads

Your Internet explorer settings by default turn on pop up blocker for security issues. Incase you are confident about the site that you visit, you can turn off pop up blocker for that site alone. The reason why you see it is because Yahoo is trying to install an activex ctrl for the game while IE says "hang on,I'm not sure if its safe to install you on this machine"Once the user gives the ok everything goes fine.
Pop up blocker settings can be found from IE window Tools->pop up blocker.

you dont always have to turn it off... when you click on the link to the game you are going to play try holding the CTRL button down... this should dissable the pop-up blocker... be sure to be holding it down before you click on the link.
