yes.it happens.but you have to ask yourself if this is what you really want.we live in a world where unforgiving people can find very cruel and entirely legal ways to get revenge for things that they were never able to forgive.if you do this you leave yourself open and very vulnerable to anything this type of person would set you up for just to see you fall.just take a very close look at this person and remember, things arent always what they seem to be.just be careful my friend

I agree with one of the readers. I went to counseling but it was then when I realized how poorly he has treated me and that he was not woth a second chance. I saw the light during counseling, I realized that I was much better wthout him and that I deserve much better than that loser.
I filed for divorce shortly after going to couseling for 3 months and it has been the best decision that I have ever made.
So, yes! couseling works because it gives you the skills to see what wrong in your relationship and how much work it would take to patch things up, I learned a lot from counselling and even today I apply that knowledge into my daily life.
If the relationship is worth saving, two people have to work on it. I say, give it a chance if you both are commited into making things work. In my case, I just had enough of his cheating and refuse to live the rest of my life unhappy. Now I am free and happy thanks to counseling!

Know of one or two, but generally by the time a couple needs counseling, it's been over for years.

I think you should try counseling, but I have to tell you I never knew anyone who got back together after going.

Nope. We stunk before we divorced, but in counseling found out we really couldn't stand each other. Sorry. Doesn't mean it won't work out for you though. Depends on you two.

Yeap! It happens and will if you both want it to work, it's all about what you put into it, how well you communicate have an open mind, honesty and understanding you have to let the past be the past and work only for the future.
