It is very disrespectful to say the least!
How well would you be able to cope with it if the tables were turned?
Why hurt someones feelings? If you still have the desire to flirt then by all means break up with your guy/girl first. It is quite obvious you are not all about them anyway.
Give the same respect you want in return. Simple as that!

Well that depends on how far you take the flirting, wether or not you're doing on purpose, or wether or not you do it in front of or around your mate. Some people are just naturally flirtatious or friendly which can be a huge problem if your mate is the jealous type. It's better to watch what you say and do if you're risking your relationship.

Without reading everyone else's answers, I am going to be perfectly honest with you. A year and a half ago, I might have said it was REALLY wrong... but I have met a man who just loves to see me flirt with others. He is confident enough in the thought that I am with him and no one else, that I do not want anyone else, and he knows whose bed I am coming home to.

My response to you is this... it depends on each relationship, and how BOTH partners feel about the flirting. If your other is ok with it, and you are ok with it, then yes, it is ok. But if either one of you has a problem with it, then NO it is NOT ok.

I think it is,especially if you're flirting right there in front of the person, that you're in a relationship with. It just causes unnecessary problems, that could have been avoided in the first place, flirting can be very misleading.

This is a no win situation, because in my relationship with my fiance, there is flirting with other people, but it all comes down to trust, if you trust that your partner is going to stay faithful to you then I don't think there is a problem but if you don't trust your partner or vise versa it can lead to problems. For us, its all harmless because we both know who we're going home with at the end of the night. Trust me I have been known to flirt my way of a ticket numerous times.

Yes, I think so. I had a job that a married guy flirted with me all day long, and it was mainly because we had a lot of the same interests. I would actually be happy when he would be out sick, even if it meant more work for me. His wife was such a sweet lady too.

it can be. depends on how far you let it go. A little flirting is harmless. If it gets to the point that you have to sneak, or have lengthy conversations, or let it get farther than a little bit, it is bad and can damage the relationship.

Don’t say I have a double standard…because I have reasons for this answer.

For me to flirt is not a bad thing, as I am awkward, and likely a woman who I flirt with will laugh uncomfortably and move on with her life. For my wife to flirt is a bad thing…because she is HOT, and guys think that woman a who firts with them wants to sleep with them.

Yeah...its called flirting with disaster. You are flirting with the possibility of screwing around on your mate is all you are doing....if you are happy with whom you are with don't mess it up with thinking that someone else might be able to do more for you or treat you better ....especially if the person that you already have treats you good.....Now if the person that you are with is jacked up then honey go for what you know.....do your thang!
