The term “axis of evil” was used by United States President George W. Bush in his State of the Union Address on January 29, 2002 to describe regimes that purportedly sponsor terror and seek weapons of mass destruction. Bush named Iraq, Iran, and North Korea in his speech.
So you're saying Iran and Korea are not real countries?

Incidentally, Chavez is a head of state - and due an equal amount of respect as our current head of state (snicker). OK?

Bush did a speech labeling certain countries as part of the axis of evil. North Korea, Syria, Iran and other countries were named.
By the way, just because you disagree with the President's position does not make you love Chavez.

The liberals are on an absolute hate campaign. They have no ideas of their own about how to solve the problem of terrorism, so they stick their head in the sand and blame Bush for "creating terrorists."

Actually never. The famed reference to the Axis of Evil was a reference to governments, not people. The followup comments within the last month again validated this assessment when he called directly to the people of Iran to reject their *governments* attempts to obtain nuclear weapons.
