My friend was 2 weeks late with her period so she took 3 preg tests all positive, but she told me today that she had a period for 7 days last week she went to her doctor but they have her in total suspense with no results yet. I dont know what to tell her so i was asking here to see if i can probably get answer to someone that has gone through this or someone you know. Is this normal? She said she wasnt experiencing alot of pain with her cramping, but just slightly.

If you take a home pregnancy test and 3 came out positive, and you take another one 3 weeks later should it still come out positive, or does the HCG level in your body change?

I don't think it is necessarily normal. She should get checked, she might have miscarried if she was not very far along. I don't think bleeding like a period is normal really, I never did it. If I was even spotting, they gave me something for it. That was a long time ago, so I don't know what they do now. She may not be pregnant any more. Maybe she could take a pregnancy test from the drug store, and see what it says.

She should call her doctor to find out her results of her test!! They may need to do a serum test to check the level of her HCG!! I've heard and been told that spotting or light bleeding is normal during early pregnancy. It could be implantation bleeding or blood leaking from the uterus or cervix while the egg is attaching to the uterine wall. As long as it's light and not clotting or she's not in severe pain, she may be fine, but she needs to consult her physician and let him/her know what's going on!!! It it worsens, she should go to the emergency room and notify her doctor immediately! Tell her to make sure she's taking her vitamins and getting a lot of rest. She should lay down on her left side and just try to relax. Take some tylenol for the minor cramps and drink plenty of water so she doesn't dehydrate!

If you take a home pregnancy test, then take another one 3 weeks later, it should still come out positive. I believe the HCG hormones increase as your pregnancy progresses. If you take a pregnancy test 3 weeks later (after having had your period) and it comes out negative, you probably lost the baby. Was your freinds period normal? If it was normal with cramping and clotting and the whole t hing, she probably lost the baby. Sorry!

well in some cases that can be normal to have a period while pregnant , but if she is stil cramping somewhat you need to tell her to call her doctor or just go to the emergency room to get checked out to make sure everthing is ok. and you could tell her to try a different doctor because if she has had no results then her doctor isnt on top of things like he or she should be . good luck sweetie!

I know some women have periods all through their preg. my best friends mom , and my mom also, had periods for five months on their pregnancys, so you could comfort her with that for a while. But you also have to know that she could have miscarried. but I wouldnt tell her that. that is something for the doctor to say. Just let her know that it is common for some women to still have a period while they are pregnant. like I said my bf's mom did not even know she was pregnant cause every thing was still happening right on track.

This could be normal, some women spot throughout their entire pregnancy, or it could be a sign of problems. She'll know soon, when her Dr. gets back to her. Tell her to try not to stress while waiting for the results, it won't do any good and can be harmful if she's still pregnant.

she should be fine. You can have your period and still be preg. IF it was a light one she is fine if not you better see what the doctor has to say he knows BEST! CONGRATS!

You can still be pregnant and get your period! if she's irregular and not pregnant it could be the result of stress. Most likely she is pregnant!
