Enjoy the experience. People are really nice to you when you are pregnant. Also, don't be a hero--GET THE EPIDURAL!! You won't hurt your baby. And if you don't want to breast feed, don't (people will be trying to talk to you into it). Also, don't think you will be getting any rest at the hospital after the baby is born. People are in and out of the room every 15 minutes!!

Also, this is the best advise: Use your common sense. You will know what is right for you and your baby. So don't listen to all the advice you will be getting because everyone's experience is different.

Congrats on the good news! Try to ignore a majority of advice. Most of it is wrong. My mom didn't give me any, even when I asked. At the time I thought it was a little rude but, Thanks Mom! Why, when you're pregnant does everyone seem to know better than you? I feel pretty confident with the choices I made and have a beautiful five year old now. Mom knows best and that's you now!

Easy...

Dont stress over the little things. Try to enjoy your pregnancy. Many first time moms get caught up on statistics and all sorts of clinical stuff. If you have concerns, speak to your doctor. That is what they are there for. But dont stress. Its not good for you or your baby! And it will just make the pregnancy feel long and draw out.

Congratulations. And guess what you get to SHOP now for all sorts of adorable baby stuff! :)

Congratulations, step number one is to make a doctors appointment and get you enrolled ina clinic, then follow the doctor's recomendations. DRINK LOTS OF WATER about 80 oz a day, take your prenatal vitamins, eat healthy, stay away from fast foods and fatty foods, start eating lots of fruits and vegetables. Enjoy every single day!!

Sleep while you can because once the baby is here, you won't be sleeping much.

Go on a vacation.

After you deliver, your insides will feel like jello....the most horrible part for me. AFter you deliver, you may pee on yourself every now and then for the first couple of days. (maybe even poop)

When you go into labor, just relax. It doesn't really hurt. It just feels like you're doing sit-ups (over and over and over....)

For me, the epidural hurt worse than the contractions.

Get all the info you can from your Dr. Eat healthy, small and frequent meals. The book "What to Expect when you're Expecting" is a great resource. Congrats!

The book "what to expect when your expecting" is a great book, I dont know what i would have done without it. Also always ask as many questions as you want w/ your doc. Sometimes they wont tell you everything, so just ask! Congrats !
