Government has been given more freedom take away our freedoms.

With the passing of the Patriot Act, the government can now detain a suspect without giving proper cause virtually indefinatly. 9-11 was the worst thing to happen to our country in a very long time. Because of the horrors that were committed that day and because of what happened afterwards. The government stepped in and began "investigating" terrorism in other countries and (in my opinion.) Trying to stamp out islam.

Since 9/11 the American public has proved that those who are willing to be terrorized will be terrorized. Instead of standing up and making it clear that we refuse to succumb to terrorism, we cower under our beds, going into convulsions every time the Chicken Little crowd in Washington or some blowhard on the Fox news Channel comes up with some gimmick to manipulate elections or relieve us of those pesky civil rights our forefathers fought and died for.

airport security has definately been increased, you can't even get into the airmall without a boarding pass, also racial profiling seems to have gotten much worse and they're putting armed air marshalls on flights

it means that it is now more of a pain in the a ss to fly on a plane....it means that since i look like a damn arab, i know get pulled aside everytime i try to get on a plane
