Can someone tell me how many seasons there are and explain the Sailor Moon R and S stuff. And if I can buy english versions of these somewhere?

There's DVD Planet, Suncoast, Best Buy, Frys... although I think the Japanese versions are much better. They don't have the censorship we have here, and they come with subtitles. go to this website to read about the show.

Try Sailor Moon Shop you can get them there but they're pricey. The last season was never dubbed into English though its in the original Japanese with subtitles.

Good luck trying to find them it took me almost 3 years to get even 1/2 of the sierys. The R and S stuff are 2 movies. Come to thingk about it it is kind os stooped to put R and S in the tittall. Id sug gesst starw berries if you want ti find movies.

I can't explain any of the series. It just never appealed to me, but I can tell you that http://www.amazon.com should have the entire series. I'm also positive that the dvds are dual language-in Japanese with subtitles and dubbed without.
