I eat fine! never had a problem with funning out of food

The world produces enough food, unfortunately, the world also produces a lot of corrupt politicians who would rather have their people starve than chance losing any influence by letting the people be fed by outsiders. Somalian warlords are a case in point.

The earth produces abundant food. It is the greedy people that causes people to go without. Companies rather throw food away than to give to the hungry. Food is sometimes left at the docks to rot away than to give to the poor. It is a simple commodity that is exploited for commercial reasons.

The world produces plenty of food. Sadly, most of it is wasted. If America alone cut its alcohol and meat consumption in half we could end world hunger with the remaining grain.
Cows weren't meant to eat grain. They're meant to eat grass. But we lock them up in tiny stalls and feed them grain and growth hormones because we don't want to pay cowboys to round them up any more.
It takes 5000 gallons of water to produce one pount of edible meat. 21 pounds of grain to produce one pound of edible meat.
You do the math.
