Hello ladies, i need desperate help. I am going away for ten days starting Dec 6. and will begin my period on the 6th!!!I am about to start Ortho Tri when my october cycle come which (looking at calendar) should be on the 7th of October. I have heard that skipping the placebo does not work when ur on Ortho Tri because of the different doses.
Ok, when i start the pill on the 7th of October then what do i do when my period is due on November 7th? do i skip the placebo then? or wait until Dec 7th? If i do it both times will i be skipping my period two months? Sorry if it seems so confusing but i am really trying to understand it. Can you guys please help me this is the first time i will try this. Thank you sooo much

I've had girlfriends on OrthoTri who have suppressed their periods using this method. It works even with the different doseages. I would recommend skipping the November 7th period (just to make sure it worked) and skipping December's period as well. It won't hurt you to do this. In fact, there are pills on the market today that will supress your period for three months at a time!

You may want to talk to your doctor about this. A lot of women (including myself) have done the same thing.

Good luck!

Don't take the placebo...go right into the next pack. I'ev done this before. Not good to do it a lot, but it can be done without any repurcissions really. I've done it 3 times when I was going on vacations lol.

Go ahead and skip the placebo in October

JUST KEEP TAKING THE REAL ONES UNTIL YOU COME BACK FROM YOUR HOLIDAY. LEAVE THE PLACEBOS IN THE PACKET DON'T TOUCH THEM.
IT WON'T HURT YOU AT ALL TO MISS A FEW PERIODS. THE PRO'S DO IT ALL THE TIME. IT WILL BE FINE. ENJOY YOUR 10 DAYS !!
