i watched the exocist the other day, and i dont know what the big deal is about it being so scary and getting banned from cinemas. I get scared easily when watching scary films, buit that film did not scare me at all does anyone else agree with me?

As others have said, the movie came out 30 years ago and horror was much different then. The movie was more about shock value (Linda Blair stabbing "herself" with the cross in her bed still shocks the sh*t outta me!), but the thought of exorcism was pretty scary back then, too. Watch some other horror movies from the 70's and you'll see what we mean.

alot of people find it scary cause they think stuff like that really happens, however now there are so many scary movies that they make alot of the older ones (even the remakes) seem not so scary... I like scary movies its the gore i don't like lol i still turn my head! And now there are the Scary movie (movies 1-4) that make fun of alot of the scary movies i think that too makes them seem not so scary.
