One of the main causes for hunger in the world today is over-population. Many of the third world countries do not believe in birth control. Vastly the majority of countries do not offer any public means of obtaining proper birth contraceptives, and many have outlawed there use. With so many mouths to feed, and so little available land to grow crops and animals on, hunger flourishes. Hope this helps you get an A+ on your homework.

Its really simple: greed! Because of greed; wars, famine, disease, and other man made atrocities exist. The world has sufficient space to grow enough food, and house farms to feed itself, several times over. Its out of greed that many of the world's population starve; or suffer badly with malnutrition. Those in power reflect on green as in dollars; over humanity and decency.
