i have a suzuki samuri and i am having car probs. and have a couple of questions on what i should do?

it is running wierd like in 4th gear it loses power and speed and i cant figure out what is wrong with it. i have changed the cadalitic coverter, the fuel filter, a tune up. any ideas.

1. Did you check the muffler. Often when the catalyst blows out it plugs the muffler.
2. Check distibutor and cam timing. The advance on the distributor may not be working, also check the timing as the engine runs up to the RPM where you are getting the power loss. As the engine speed increases the amount of advance needs to increase or or you will experience power loss and poor performance.
