To me it's obvious that he did. He requested release from the WWE, the WWE didn't release him for overly agressive wrestling. He wrote that long *** letter saying how hurt he was and he needed time to recover. Those injuries he described don't heal this quick. I think we all got suckered.

Andy... if you read my answers from before you know I'm a 20 plus year fan of this "sport" and I know the drill.... I'm talking about did he lie to get out of he contract? I say he did and he really isn't that hurt.

uh... he's signed with TNA... so he's going to wrestle again. Pain meds???? I'm questioning all that. Why sign a contract with TNA so flippin so if you were so hurt you needed to get out of your WWE contract.

NEO don't shout at me boy. I agree if he's that hurt its time for him to leave wrestling. That's the rub, WRESTLING! The signing with TNA proves he ain't leaving wrestling. I'm calling him a liar getting out of his WWE Contract the way that he did. Now do I really care about it? Not really since I'm no longer watching wrestling. I'm just calling a spade a spade here people.

REALITY CHECK People! Some of ya all around here are confusing yourselves. Contracts are signed in the real world between wrestlers and company. When signed there are certain expectations of honesty and loyalty to said company. Kurt gave a song and dance to everyone to get out of his contract and not have the NO COMPETE CLAUSE in effect because he was being released from "injuries." They weren't expecting him to sign with TNA. We will never ever see Kurt Angle in the WWE ever again.

Have you seen Kurt's contract? My take on it is that they were screwing him by sending him to their retarded stepchild ECW and he knew his career was all downhill in the WWE from there.
Who the heck believes Edge or Cena is a better star and ambassador for wrestling than Kurt? Kurt coudl mop the floor with either one of them whether real or fake.
So if Kurt was able to get out of his contract, even crookedly, I say more power to him because he was getting screwed over at WWE.

None of us will ever really know what was really on Kurt's mind. For all we know WWE might be distorting the truth(heaven forbid). Think about this, Kurt Angle was smart enough to choose WWE over ECW & WCW. And he made the right decision. He choose what he perceived to be the best and respectable company. And he made the right decision because WWE eventually buried those promotions. And now, he's made the decision to move to TNA, despite financial security with WWE. Maybe he knows something that we don't?

I was thinking the exact same thing. I think Angle hoodwinked everybody just to get away from WWE and go to TNA, where he would have instant marquee status and a much lighter work and travel schedule. Vince got suckered and TNA virtually stole a boone from him. Things will now be getting interesting betwen the two companies...

Well WWE contracts usually have no compete clauses meaning they can't compete for competition for like a certain number of days. In TNA, they work less so that can be a factor and he may not wrestle right away and build a storyline around him like he can't compete yet because he's not healed yet.

No, he got out of WWE because his body was tired of restling every week and plus he wants to spend more time with his family. right now he has joined TNA and he only wrstles like once a week and now he got plenty to time to spend with his family.

Yes he did. When he joined ECW, there were concerns he would be 'too real' in his wrestling abilities because it was Extreme Championship Wrestling. He didn't even have a Extreme Rules Match because he (Vince) thought he would injure somebody.

for the pain medicine he was taking with each match just so he could keep it up end up hurting him even more that why he is out of the wrestling right now so he can recover from the drug of pain medicine and may be able to return in the future.

Do you really belive wrestling is real? And the written scripts they rehearse before they go into the ring to make their speeches? They either make a good speech that satisfies the audience and make them agree with everything that person says or makes a speech that offends the people / audience in general and make them hate the guts out of them.
