I will give you an example of what I mean.
back in the early 70's, while nixon was still president, I met a beautiful in my math class who moved from atlanta and I constantly called her up to see how she was doing.
One day, in the class, I realized she didnt show up so I called up her and I told her about the homework that the math teacher had assigned us to do.
Since that day, we are the best of friends and that I love her with all of my heart.

There is a fst way .Have a party,reading group,etc,whatever the persons r interested in. Get involved in what they like. Invite them to diner or even just out for coffee.Dont br afraid of rejection,after all everyone doesnt have to be ur friend. Good luck curious 2006

I just call once in awhile and see how they are doing , let them know i am someone they can talk to if need be

act intrested in what they got to say and find something you are intrested in together and say event is coming up you both might enjoy invite them too
