I know how difficult this must be for you but you can't get involved by telling him. What you need to do is try to convince your friend to either stop the cheating or tell her boyfriend herself. You have to stay out of it.

He should know of course, of your best friend's infidelity,...but I don't know if you're the person that should be breaking it to him. Since she is doing the cheating, it should be her that breaks it to him, not you. You should have talk with your best friend and give her a chance to break the news to her boyfriend first. Tell her that you will give her some time to break the news to him, and if she doesn't do it within a certain time period (you can decide this), you will break the news to him. Either way, he's going to be hurt by the news, based on what you have told us about him. It's better for him to know sooner than later, so he can deal with it in his own way. She shouldn't be allowed to get away with it, while
stringing him along. If I was him, I would dump her as soon as possible, or if I was really vengeful, I would pay her back by doing the same thing that she did, and making sure she knew about it. However, that's just me. I'm not recommending every
one try this approach. First of all, he has to be convinced that she
is truly cheating on him. He might not believe it at first.

That happened to a friend of mine. She was the one that was cheated. Her friends told her boyfriend that if he didn't tell her, they would. He ended up breaking up with her by phone (what a jerk). She got a little upset with her friends, because she thought they had to tell her when they knew. I feel like they were right, they forced the guy to be honest. They were good friends to both.

A good thing to do is to confront your best friend and say that you feel caught in the middle. If nothing is done by .. lets say next week then you have no chose but to tell the boyfriend. Theres another way
of looking at it and i know that you wont like it either, maybe its none of your business.

r they going steady or they just dating? Is she really cheating on him or r they just friends with benifits? If they r just dating i dont call it cheating! If its just friends with benifits then i dont call that cheating either (friends wiht benifits are ppl u can see more and ya,,, NO FRIENDS WITH BENIFITS WHEN UR GOING STEADY) just talk to ur friend tell her how u feel! Tell her u dont agree with her and if she doesnt stop u will tell her bf! Cheating hurts take it from someone that has been cheated on by 6 guys and 7 times with 1 guy! It really hurts and he needs to no!

Well....if the girl is your BEST FRIEND...then you need to stay her best friend and back HER up. Ya...it sucks that shes doing that...talk to her, tell her it upsets you. But if you tell him, then you might loose ur best friend...and its ur job to stay by her side...Like I said, talk to her about it. She might understand, if not, then maybe its time to find a new bestfriend

You are definitely caught in the middle of a tough situation! I would recommend you go with what your GUT FEELING tells you! Right or wrong, I always think a gut feeling is the best!

Yes, because as a friend, you should step up and be there for him. He has a right to know, and if he finds out that you knew and didn't say anything he'll be really hurt and angry at you. Think about it... Good Luck.

Normally I would say stay out of it. But since your best friends boyfriend is also your friend, tell her that if she doesn't tell him, then you will.
