I live for the specks of time when everything seems imperfect and wonderful. When I feel this way I burn the moment into my mind. One of my favorites: passing by a little coffee shop in Patagonia, Arizona. Cloudy day with no rain. Outside in a rocking chair, a woman in a green knit hat and a light purple shawl sips tea from a ceramic tea cup with flowers on it. A golden brown finch lands at her feet.

Falling asleep on the couch watching a movie with my daughter.
Shaking the priest's hand and saying, "Have a good week" at the end of mass on Sunday.

All of the moments that have molded me into the person that I am today. There have been many wonderful moments....and many sad ...but I have live for and through them ALL.

When all the housework is done, I take a shower and the best moment is when I park that caboose of mine on the couch with a good book and a cup of tea. Mm mm, bliss!

The fifteen minutes a day my husband calls from the middle east, the mornings when my cat is cold and wants to cuddle under the covers, and the feeling of accomplishment when a piece of artwork is completed.

I work at a Childrens Hospital and when I forget to take my badge off at the Grociery store or something. Someone always comes up to me with a story of how our hospital saved thier child.
