I am just looking for suggestions here. I am a self-employed website owner. I have difficulty being motivated to do work during weekdays with no one around. I am looking for someone to simply sit and work with (at Starbucks). I would love suggestions for how to find someone in a similar situation (I know that this would include college students, writers, artists or other self-employed people). Any ideas about how to find people in a similar situation (websites would be MUCH appreciated!).

You could hypothetically look at myspace, since they're supposedly all about networking contacts. I'd go to some job fairs in your vicinity and Grab a few people while they're browsing around the tables. You could put up flyers around college campuses. Or You could simply make another website, and create traffic to get the word out that way.

post an ad- at your favorite coffee shop or on another website like craigslist.com- go put yourself out there, explore local coffee shops and see if you can find someone doing the same thing
