Swampy ( james cameron) from Retfeld in Hampshire came to fame during the infamous newbury bypass in 1990. He continued to campaign against roads being built through places of beauty until 1996 when he evolved into a koala bear. All the time he spent up trees changed his DNA and today you can see him at Bristol zoo. He is now known as bernie and spends most of the day eating Eucalyptus leaves and sleeping.
