I have a great relationship with a guy and I'm sure if all it is is a friendship. A lot of people have told me things he has said about me and he has never said that I was just a good friend or anything like that. I was just confused on pursuing it. We like the same stuff, music, shows, movies, we have the same family background. We even want to go down the same career path!

You should try hinting at the idea of a relationship and see if he feels the same way. Try asking if he wants to meet up to see a movie, as friends or something. If you get a positive reaction, try talking to him bout it, saying you don't want to ruin the friendship or anything, but you just wanted to know if he felt the same way. My best friend is a guy. i know him since primary school, but it was about 7 years ago when our real adult friendship started. everyone who knows us can't belive we are not a couple, my family want us to be together, his mum as well. I got so confused some time ago- I mean all of this people talking about us as a boyfriend and girlfriend- and was thinking about arranging something romantic between us. eventually I didn't. It is quite easy to mix friendship with love....
I am happy I left it this way...
