first... let us tear down KooKoo's lies and rhetoric... When tearing down his false assumptions and illogical thinking, we can see some of the reasons why we did vote for Bush

"Gay marriage, "family values", "Christ", "jesus"--all that crap that Republicans go wild for avoiding REAL issues like economy, health, education, and security."

Hmmm... you say no focusing on the economy?? This was a MAJOR reason to vote for Bush. The recession was already underway. The market was beginning its inevitable correction from the false boom of Clinton-omics. The growth in the 90's was mainly predicated on hype, not production. The market soared on speculation and not delivered product or profits. When the investors did not start seeing actual production, the selloff began, the layoffs began, etc. The claim of 'surplus' was a boldface lie. The debt grew each and every year under the Clinton administration. Recovering down to slow to moderate growth economics was much needed... this is what was brought by Bush

Healthcare.... since when is this a socialist nation? Since when is healthcare OWED to you by the federal government? This is not in the purpose of the fed, or for state governments for that matter. YOU are the only one responsible for YOU. If you want or need healthcare, you best provide for you and yours. If you are some lazy bum at age 33 and is only making minimum wage, that is YOUR fault for the decisions you have made. Any NORMAL person would advanced in their skills and their job to provide for themselves and those in their family. It is not the responsibility of the government, nor should it be, to give you healthcare.

Education..... Bush had proposed a fresh idea. Granted not every aspect of it has worked as was hoped, but there has been SOME progress made. The problem is that it has not been concentrated on in a while now and it must be revamped from the original intent. But there was serious thought in Bush's education agenda.

Security... Are you kidding me KooKoo??? Bush wanting to ramp UP nation defense again, and Republicans (or ones that voted for Bush) were not thinking of security? While the likes of Gore or Kerry wanted to again CUT defense spending. Very Clinton like. Clinton's cuts DESTROYED the military in the 90's. Much work had to be done to repair the damage done by the Clinton style, so I chose (and rightfully so) Bush over Gore....

1. Biennial budgeting (didn't happen)
2. Bipartisan record/Bullock endorsement (left behind in Texas)
3. Lack of confidence in Kerry (still applies)
4. Lack of confidence in Gore (still applies)
5. Thought Cheney would bring balance to The Force. (went Sith)
6. Figured we'd had 8 years of Democrats with nothing to show for it, so I swapped my vote. Planning to swap again next election until somebody does something.

A postit was stuck on a hot-air hand drier in the mens room on Capitol Hill... "Push button for an important message from your congressman."

I didnt vote for him, but the answers you get should be highly amusing.I bet I know what they will be too..
" Al Gore like totally sucked"
"John Kerry was a commie traitor to this country"
" Al queada wants to kill me"
Bush is strong on terrorism
Bush cares about this country...At least hes doing something about it unlike Clinton who got a ******** in office...Um...crap..whats another reason...oh because Bush wants to outlaw gay marriage and my bible tells me that two men cant be married cause its yucky...abortions bad..I always vote republican cause democrats would just raise taxes....

I did not.

The question reminds me of a posting I saw here by a Republican who said "I just want to see the Republicans win just so I can keep thumbing my nose at the Democrats".If that's any help to figuring out their reasoning.

I didn't want to but there was no one else worth voting for. He was the best of the worst. I wish Clinton could have stayed in office. At least we weren't broke!!!

aside from liking President bush in 2000 , Gore had no personality and I wanted Tipper no where near a power position (if anyone remembers the old PMRC hearings of the 80s)

2004 I didn't liek Kerry or that special repationship he had with Edwards.. was creepy, also Kerry didn;t have much of a record of saying the same thing twice.

I myself didn't vote for him- I make sure I am sober when I vote. For many others, such was not the case.

My brain. You see, mine actually works.

**Hey, Mo! When you choose to call a group of people out, you really should look at yourself first. I don't think that "ignorants" is what you meant.....LOL!
