Actual "showing" may take longer but when it comes to finding out, it makes no difference at all.

Size makes no difference in finding out you are pregnant, but it does play a roll in some other aspects of pregnancy. First, some obese people have trouble conceiving because of their size. Second, a lot of obese people have miscarriages. Third, obese people tend to not show until late in pregnancy, if at all. Last, most obese people will end up being considered high risk.

If you go and buy a test, weight does not matter, if that does not work and feel you still may be pregnant, then by all means go to the doctor and get a blood work up. If you are with child, then you and the baby needs to start seeing a doctor and get started on the prenatal vitamins. Good Luck!!!

It takes longer for them to show that their pregnant, if at all, but it most definitely does not take longer for them to find out their pregnant.

the obese have a harded time GETTING pregnant, not finding out

Yes, and if you look into the history of "surprise" pregnancies (the women had no idea they were pregnant), they were predominantly obese

no. it may take longer for it to be visible but the hormones are there fat or skinny. trust me, i know.
