You do not say how you travel but all travel drys the skin (and body) air travel is the worst. But trains, air conditioned cars, buses & hotel rooms will also dry you out.
The first and most important remedy is to drink a lot of extra water. Drink extra before and after travel and especially drink extra water while actually travelling. The air in these places will suck the moisture right out of you -- so drink water and avoid alcohol. caffiene and sweet drinks;(which also dry you out).
Secondly , after a bath or shower put a moisturing cream on your body while you are still wet-you will be amazed how that helps.
Do not use any body powder.
Moisturize your arms, legs neck and face as often as you can while travelling.
Any average priced moisturizer will do- you do not have too spend a lot.
Before a shower rubbing olive oil on your skin will also help.
However the real secret is in your drinking -- lots of extra water and avoid the drinks that dry out the body & skin.
