I rushed two sororities when formal rush was going on. All the girls liked me i thought but i didn't get a bid. The lady that is in charge of it all kinda didn't like me so I think she had something to do with it. Should I do formal rush again next year? I have several friends in both now and they really want me to get in and everyone was so surprised that i didn't get in.

Maybe think about this. Some fraternities have what they call "little sisters". It is basically being part of the frat w/o being a member. You get invited to all the events etc. All the benefits of Greek life w/o the frustration.

You should try it again and I'm sure your friends will help you out. If it's meant to be it's meant to be. If you don't get it after your second try, then I dont think you should try again.

In my sorority if you came through rush and you didn't get a bid, there was probably something wrong with the rushee.

I would definatly do a fromal rush. But before hand take a chance to get to know the leader of the sorority find out what her beef is. Sometimes people just dont like people they dont know. Its hard for them to meet new people as well.

If you didn't get in the first time what makes you think you're going to get in the second time? You already see how they are treating you so why do you want to go through that again...so they can call you "sister"...But if your heart is in it and you want it so bad that there is a possibility that you won't make it again go ahead...not even the head lady in charge should stop you....show her that you want it...

You dont want that anyways, do you really want to pay for your friends? Just join one of the conventional clubs and meet friends with similiar scholarly interests and it will serve you much better. Besides thats what you are there for right, to learn and get a degree..

In my experience, all they want is your money. The whole idea of sororities and sisterhood is a lie.

No. Don't bother. Once rejected...Twice Scorned.
