It's a wonderful book and you should read it. It's not that long of a book and it isn't boring either. The movie with Gregory Peck is fantastic. So, you get the point, I would never help you be lazy in your English homework.

That is my favorite book! Excellent movie as well. I suggest reading the book though.

awesome movie and great book
it's about life in the South in the 1930's, during the great depression, and about right and wrong, prejudices, and family
Gregory Peck says it's his most favorite role he ever did
Oh! and it's Robert Duvall's first film that i know of...
